1) Listen to your body. As you are training it is easy to become preoccupied with the repetitions you are doing, or the time you've been exercising. Leave your watch at home and walk or slow down when your body start hurting.

6) You will improve your health by stretching more. Your muscles get shorter through goodexercise, and you could get injured if you never stretch. Before the main workout, one method is to warm up slowly first, then spend several minutes stretching. You also need to stretch after exercise.

7) If you are exercising more, you have to keep hydrated. This means drinking water and sports drinks if you are sweating a lot. You lose minerals in your body while sweating. It is recommended to drink two litres of water a day, but you need to drink more than this if you are working out. But keep in mind that it can be just as harmful to drink too much as too little, so do not get carried away.

8) Exercise with other individuals. Your fitness will get better if you have other people to motivate you and you might meet new friends.

9) Do not become too competitive as this may damage your health. Motivation from other people is good, but you should only be competing against yourself. You could become injured if you try too hard to keep up with another person.
