What a wonderful time is had by all just relaxing and fishing. This is a fantastic time for everyone. There is no question here that fishing, in my opinion, is the absolute best sport; and in that category, bass fishing reigns supreme.
Bass fishing can be so low key and have such a calming effect on your soul; but it can have your heart pumping with excitement in no time. You must be able to just relax and sit for a while when waiting for the fish to bite, but keep your bass fishing mode tuned up.
Bass fishing is a sport with a lot of ups and downs; but there is one thing that is definite...once you start to get involved with it, there is no middle ground. It's love it or leave it.
As you are getting your feet wet, learning about bass fishing; you will soon find out that there is a lot more to bass fishing than meets the eye. It is a fact, that for the sheer excitement of fishing, you can't outdo the feeling of having a largemouth bass grab the bait and run with it.
Bass fishing can be broken up into several factions depending on which species of bass you like to fish; some people prefer smallmouth bass, some prefer largemouth, and others go for striped bass. For whatever reason, folks who love bass fishing seem to prefer a certain kind of fish over another, but you don't need to fish one kind only.
When you start bass fishing, one of the facts that you learn is how many facets there are in the sport that allow you to pick out the form that appeals to you the most; fly fishing or surf casting or stream fishing.
Most anglers are very vocal when it comes to bass fishing from a boat; it is the method of choice for the majority of them. Serious bass fishermen want to fish from a boat, therefore that makes boat fishing the most desired mode of bass fishing, and if you want to give it a whirl and see if you can do it too, just join a bass fishing group and get your sea legs.
Lose your inhibitions about bass fishing when you are a newbie at it, but getting in with a bass fishing party crowd and let them teach you the ins and outs of the sport. Starting out in bass fishing can be intimidating for some, so just join up with a party of fishermen and learn all you can about it.
