You must have heard of multiple revenue streams in Internet home business. Once the initial work is done, the system runs on auto-pilot, bringing you steady income for as long as the rules of the Internet do not change too much.

You can be a newbie looking to start an Internet based home business, a struggling internet marketer, or a successful entrepreneur looking for additional income streams. Whichever you are, you have to be willing to put in effort and time.

Types Of Revenue Streams

How about the revenue streams ? Here are the more popular ones:

• Niche Marketing - Selling your products to a niche market
• Affiliate Marketing - Selling other people's products
• Google Adsense or alternative (yes, it's the craze presently)

I'm personally involved in all 3 revenue streams, each giving me a comfortable level of earnings.

If you are happy with just promoting other people's products, some affiliate programs provide ready cookie-cutter-style websites you can use to advertise about. Or you could just spend some money to advertise your affiliate link, and send traffic direct to the merchant's sites.

But this is like building a short term income, and you'll have little control over your Internet based home business. There are just too many odds against you.

You need to be able to build an online business, one which can last and last. For this you need your own websites, so that you can build upon the 3 revenue streams. You need productivity tools and some form of automation resources. But be very careful here - you need to plan your budget so you'll not spend on some overhyped products that you don't really need.
